MAY-JUNE 2020

Plein - air  defined:  Denoting or in the manner of a 19th century style of painting outdoors, or with a strong sense of the open air, that became a central feature of French Impressionism.

The surrounding grounds of The Church of The Resurrection, Leawood, Kansas, provided just the open air space I needed during these months. I am grateful for the beauty and peace I found.

Selling at $499 each or $3000 for the set of 7.

The Seasons of The Marsh

For years back home in Minnetonka Minnesota, I spent many hours at the beautiful health and wellness facility, The Marsh.

I took the time to paint the view of the actual Marsh outside of the club, during all four seasons. With coffee, paint and brush, the deck off of the restaurant was my vantage point for painting en plein air. It was a special time in my life and I am thankful for every moment spent there.

These watercolors are for sale at $300 each or $900 for the full set.
